In husbond.dk I want to create beautiful, colourful and comfortable clothes. I make scarves and shawls for women who dare to be themselves.
The products are meant to provide great comfort as well as highlighting the female body. The colours are an important part of my universe because they create joy and energy. The products are at the same time beautiful, raw and feminine.
Most of my products are made from nunofelt. Nuno is Japanese for fabric. It is the designation used when two materials come together to form at new unique piece of fabric. Mostly I use silk and merino wool but it can just as easy be made with cotton, flax or other types of fabric, which are felted together with wool.
husbond.dk is started by Gitte Husbond in the beginning of 2007. The company now ships scarves, shawls and general clothing to over 30 shops in Denmark and Sweden.
